It's a quiet Sunday afternoon here...and after shoveling at least 6" of snow from our overnight snowfall, it's time to get some work done!

As we update and upgrade what we're doing here at The U., one of our objectives is to be more intentional and purposeful with our emails.

That means I am going to try to send out an email daily (at least almost daily).These emails could be a simple motivational moment, a link to an article somewhere that I think you will benefit from, a link to a new update at Hoops U. and much more.

So with that, I'm passing along a real good article from Sports Illustrated.

Coach Tom Crean, in this article, shares what he learned post-Indiana…and he learned a ton. He learned from other great coaches in a variety of sports to build on his leadership, management, and teaching skills.

On the second Sunday of his unemployment Crean attended a 76ers practice. Freed of responsibility, he could look and listen and watch how others performed in his line of work. “Somethzing clicked,” as he put it, and this led to his embarking on…well, what exactly? Maybe a cross between a gap year and a traveling sports professional development seminar. As Crean puts it, “I want to become a better leader, a better manager, a better coach, a better man—by watching the best.” Here’s what he learned.

If you've been a member of 'The Academy' for any length of time, you might remember the videos you could stream and watch.

Well, those videos should all be going back up this evening (Sunday eve).

From our Hoops U. clinic videos of Jim Boone, Dick & Jack Bennett, Randy Brown, and more....to our collection of other videos we need to get them posted to our 'new' place.

Hopefully this evening they will all be up, but at least a couple should be available to watch.

We'll keep adding in the coming days as well!!
