Your team is leading by one point with 3 seconds remaining in the 4th quarter.
You have no timeouts remaining. You have to inbound the ball at the other team's end of the court from the "dead corner" where the sideline meets the baseline. Your best inbounds passer has fouled out.
The gym is so loud with enthusiasm that it makes it impossible to yell instructions to the far end of the court (remember you are out of timeouts).
You have to get the ball inbounds to preserve your victory. Are you absolutely confident that your players will be able to execute in this situation?
Brian Williams of the Coaching Toolbox has put together 3 great free resources to help coaches save time and organize their teams for this and many other time and score situations that occur throughout the season.
You can get access to them here: Special Situations Preparation
The three free resources are:
- A list of over 100 situations that you MUST prepare your team for.
-
A special situations practice planning template to save you time and make sure you cover everything you need to cover.
- A PDF download with ideas for covering 13 special situations in your practices and games.
You can get access to all three here: Special Situations Preparation.P.S. There is also a bonus eBook with 9 resources for teaching and practicing shooting as well as 2 other surprise coaching resources. Click here:
